at Maitland Myotherapy & Sports Massage, we are passionate about sports and helping you to be the best you can be at any level.
To help you out we thought we would give you some information on your particular sport, the associated injury rates and some strategies to help you avoid spending time as a spectator due to injury. There are so many great resources available for a range of sports, however, It is our experience that the individual sporting bodies have not been successful at getting this information to grassroots sporting clubs and individuals. Sports specific programs such as Football's 11+ program and Netball Australia's Knee program should form essential components of training programs at all levels.
